Attendance

Need to Report an Absence or Request Early Release?
When a student must be absent from school, please report your student's absence by calling/emailing the attendance office prior to 10 a.m. the day of the absence. All documentation (parent notes, doctor’s notes, appointment verifications, etc.) must be submitted to the attendance office on the date the student returns to school. Any absence not cleared within the allotted time (three days) will become an unexcused absence. Communication received from a parent after 3 days will result in the absence remaining unexcused.

Additional Attendance Information
Late Arrival, Tardy or Early Dismissal
If your student is tardy to school, not in the classroom by 8:10 AM you are required to come to the office to sign them in. Please do NOT drop your child off by themselves after the tardy bell rings. After the tardy bell rings our staff is no longer monitoring the exterior of the school. It is a safety issue to drop children off, please escort your children into the school.
If your student is arriving late due to a doctor's appointment, you are required to come to the office to sign them in. You will also need to bring a note from the doctor so we can document this for attendance purposes.
If you are coming to pick your child up for an early dismissal, you will need your drivers license.
Early dismissals will ALWAYS require your drivers license as the system we use will not process the release without the proper credential.
